Bishop Bruce's Tour de l'île · Le tour de l'île de Mgr Bruce
Thanks to so many people’s generosity, Bishop Bruce’s Alongside Hope Wild Ride fundraising goal has been reached! But donations are still welcome, and every dollar will be matched by a generous benefactor, in support of the healing mission of St. Luke’s Hospital in the West Bank, a ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem. Bishop Bruce plans to do his tour de l’île in August. Details and photos to follow. In the meantime, you can still sponsor his ride with an online donation.
Grâce à la générosité de tant de personnes, l’objectif de collecte de fonds de Mgr Bruce pour Auprès de l’espoir (l’agence humanitaire de l’Église anglicane du Canada) est atteint! Projet Lune
For the last few years the cathedral congregation has been donating clothing and money to Projet Lune, an organization that helps women who are living on the street. They have asked mainly for donations of underwear, clean bras and new underpants. The last of these gives have been distributed. The social workers who are involved thank us very much. We'll take a break during the summer but we'll be back in the fall to remind you of this worthy cause.
Depuis quelques années, la congrégation de la Cathédrale fait des dons de vêtements et d'argent à Projet Lune, un organisme qui aide les femmes vivant dans la rue. On nous a demandé principalement des dons de sous-vêtements, de soutiens-gorge propres et de culottes neuves. Ces derniers dons ont été distribués. Les intervenantes sociales impliquées nous remercient beaucoup. Nous prendrons une pause durant l'été, mais nous serons de retour à l'automne pour vous rappeler cette belle cause.
